IIM kashipur
Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur, the most recently added IIM, started operation in July 2011 under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow. The foundation stone for the 200-acre Permanent campus in the Escorts farm Area of Kashipur, Uttarakhand, was laid in April 2011. Currently, it is operating from a temporary campus located ar Ganna Sansthan, Bazpur Road, Udham Singh Nagar, Kashipur.
The Institute is located in one of the most densely industrialized regions in the country with over 190 industries having plants in and around the region and many more in pipeline. This places the Institute at a vantage point when it comes to delivering the right blend of theoretical and practical exposure via frequent industry interactions and live projects. Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur or IIM Kashipur is a new entrant in the elite league of IIMs.
The Institute has been set up with the objective of providing high quality Management education while preparing the students towards the needs of the society. The Institute offers Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), it is a 2 years full-time residential autonomous programme. The rigorous curriculum seeks to instil a passion for learning new skills, knowledge and ability to apply that knowledge to real-life situations. The programme lays emphasis on all-round personality development and inculcates the values of leadership, commitment and integrity. The programme is spread over two years with six trimesters and a summer internship after the third trimester. The curriculum of the programme, by all standards, is rigorous. Assignments, live projects. periodic evaluations and demanding academic schedules ensure that the student develops time management skills and working efficiently and effectively
The Institute offers an intensive 2 year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGPM) for working professionals also. The executives joining the programme must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience after graduation.
Besides, the Institute also offers Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM). This is a non-residential Doctoral programme designed to address the academic and research needs of working professionals from business, Government and social sectors. Fellow programmes of IIM are accorded equivalence to Ph.D. by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
